Is Your Website AdSense Ready? You MUST Have Your Site Set Up Correctly For an AdSense Income

Many folks these days are looking for ways to make money online. There are thousands of ways to earn an income. One of the many popular methods is through Google AdSense, which is a contextual block of ads that a person places strategically on their website and earns a commission when a visitor clicks on an ad. Since there are many people who do not know how to create their own website, they can easily purchase an AdSense Ready website with their own AdSense affiliate ID embedded and upload the site to their webhost.

An AdSense Ready website can be a html/php template or wordpress blog theme that is pre-designed with graphics and AdSense advertising blocks already built into the design. These sites can be purchased online for download and you will find them via sales pages, auctions, or sometimes special offers in marketing and niche forums.

Many times, AdSense Ready templates will come with niche content or articles included. Although this is very convenient, this can lead to duplicate content because the same templates are generally sold to multiple customers. This only adds to your competition when trying to gain search engine traffic. You can still get a good ranking, but you have to have a lot of relevant backlinks, more than your competition. It helps to rewrite the site content or create your own to make it unique to the search engines. Why add more competition than you need to?

As convenient as AdSense Ready websites are, can you just upload them and start earning an income? An even bigger challenge than creating your own website, is getting targeted traffic to your website. A person can have the best site in the world, but if there are no visitors, there will be no clicks, and consequently, no income. Quality content plus targeted traffic equals real income.

Assuming you are able to get traffic to your site, how much can a person expect to make from an AdSense Ready site? This can vary greatly. The value of a visitor's click will depend on the niche and keywords you have chosen to target on your site. Contextual advertising is all about relevant content. Some niche keywords are only worth a few pennies per click, some are worth ten or twenty dollars per click. These are some of the factors worth considering when you are choosing the theme of your site.

Some people earn hundreds of dollars a month with one AdSense Ready website, while others may not make much at all. Some will make a few dollars a day per site, and end up creating twenty to fifty sites in order to earn a full time income, kind of like their own mini-web empire.

The keys to success are providing quality content and consistent targeted traffic to your site. If you can do this and build up your portfolio of AdSense Ready websites, you will start earning steady commissions from Google, and any other affiliate programs that you may also use to monetize your sites with.
